New York...New York! Meneses Women Take New York!

This weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, will be a fantastic journey. As a Mother's Day gift, my husband is flying my youngest daughter, Debi, and myself to Philadelphia. There we will meet my daughter, Jessie, and all three of us will go to New York City for the weekend. My children, Danny, Jessie, Debi and Debi's husband, Eddy, paid for tickets for the musical, "Wicked" on Broadway which we will see on Sunday. All the years that I lived up North I never went to New York. I'm so excited. I can't wait.

Move Over Betsy Ross....Jessie is our Philadelphia Girl!

Betsy Ross may have sewn the flag but our Jessie will take Philadelphia. We are so proud of our daughter. After graduating with her masters and becoming a neonatal nurse practicioner, Jessie interviewed around the country for a job. Although I know her heart is in Tampa, Jessie moved to Philadelphia without knowing a soul. Now she has taken the opportunity to spend more time with my family in Tamaqua, Pa. She will often go there over the weekend and as my brother calls her, the Florida Princess, has her own room at his house. She took a new job at Philadelphia Children's Hospital and a new apartment in Manayunk, Pa. We know that the families she will work with will be blessed.

The Mowry family grew by one on April 3, 2007. This was a month before the little princess was supposed to make her arrival. The Princess is doing well and is just waiting to get rid of all the oxygen and feeding tubes. She is growing each day with Mommy and Daddy's love. She is the grandaughter of Patty and Herb Pierson. Her statistics are:

It's Official.....She Passed!!

We are pleased to announce that our daughter, Jessica Lynn Meneses, passed her test last week and is now a fully licensed Neonatal Nurse Practicioner. We never did have any doubts that she would pass but she was nervous and tired of studying. Now a new chapter begins at Philadelphia Children's Hospital. Congratulations Jessie...we are so proud of you and love you. Here is Jessie with a good friend, McKenna, after visiting the circus.

What a Great Catch!

Our son Danny loves fishing. He recently bought a small boat and goes fresh water fishing. Here is Danny with his new boat and with his best catches...the fish and his beautiful girlfriend, Mandy. Also pictured is Danny's childhood friend, John, and his son.

My brother recently went to Topsham, Me. to attend the christening of his new grandaughter, Josy Hollenbach. Here he is taking the newest redhead for a sleighride. Josy sports red hair like her daddy and her big brothers, Jax and Jace.
